Do you want to learn to belay on top rope, or to take your climbing one step further and learn how to climb & belay on lead?

At Hangaren Hot Spot Center, we offer standardized climbing courses with certified instructors through the Swedish Climbing Federation.

GREEN CARD
(Top Rope Climbing)

Do you want to get started climbing?
Learn how to climb on top rope and become a safe belayer.

Part 1 (2 hours)
We learn the basics of top rope climbing. We go over the rules at the climbing wall, buddy check, belay techniques and different types of climbing equipment.

Part 2 (2 hours + 30 min theoretical & practical examination)
We start with a quick repetition of the things we learned in part 1 and continue to work on the belaying. We cover how to catch a fall and how to fall as a climber, and we take a closer look on belaying with an “assisted belay” type of rope brake.
The course ends with 30 minutes of theoretical & practical examination.


If you pass the examination you will recieve a “green card”.

Requirements:
Min. age: 13+ år
Max. weight: 110 kg
Max. weight difference between climbers: 30 kg

RED CARD
(Lead Climbing)

Already have a green card and want to take the next step?
Join a course in lead climbing.

Part 1 (2.5 hours)
We learn how to lead climb & belay in a safe way. We cover equipment, balay techniques, how to connect the rope while climbing & possition to the wall.


Part 2 (2 hours + 30 min theoretical & practical examination)
We start with a quick repetition of part 1. We cover belaying with “assisted balay” type brakes & we practice on catching falls as well as falling as a climber.
The course ends with 30 minutes of theoretical & practical examination.

If you pass the examination you will recieve a “red card”.

You must have: Green card
Max. weight: 110 kg
Max. weight difference between climbers: 30 kg
